Corporation is famous for their leadership style. In the process to operate a
company or corporation, planning is very important process. To lead this
planning or strategizing leadership is acquired for the development of the
corporation. To develop one’s strategy heroes of the company is very important
for the leadership and the culture adjustment, and organizational
communications.
Organizational Heroes Thus, Nexen Tire has a company
heroes in Nexen tire are Byung-Woo Lee as vice president sales division,
Hyun-Bong Lee, and Nexen’s CEO Hong Jong Man. They focus on enlarging domestic
sales and global marketing strategy. Thus, his overall goal was to improve the
companys market share and provide a hub for future marketing efforts. Also,
Nexen Tire was looking for a web solution that not only would serve their goal
of creating a unique marketing hub, but also one that was flexible, dynamic, and
easy to update. Thus, He used e-business strategy and B2B business strategy
using IT and Web portals to link organizations vertically in supply chains. He
helped to achieve the company’s goal improving the benefit of Nexen Tire.
Motivational environment Another thing that Nexen Tire became
well-known company is that Nexen emphasized the motivation to understand
importance of environmental operation and minimize environmental pollution. All
organizations and employees in Nexen Tire according to the environmental-
operation system must abide to establish environmental management system
continually increasing the positive aspects of the company’s organizational
environment. In addition, Nexen abides by the regulations that are interrelated
to the domestic and international environment.
Effectiveness of
organizational communication For the company to be successful as Nexen tires,
company should possess effective organizational communications. Internal
communication in Nexen Tire is divided into two parts such as downward
communication and upward communication. In the process of downward
communication, every employee receives a copy of the strategic plan, to
understand and be ensured about the goal and the objectives. Nexen holds
management meetings at least every two weeks reporting their job process.
Employees receive yearly performance reviews including their goals for the year,
updated job descriptions, accomplishments, needs for improvement, and plan to
help the employee accomplish the improvements. Upward organizational
communication in Nexen Tire is the communication between team members and
supervisors. All supervisors meet one-on-one at least once a month to discuss
how the separate jobs of each employee. After that they work on input-output
model to improve the company’s transformation according to the feedback of the
employee to the supervisor. Nexen Tire established these kinds of internal
organizational communication that helped Nexen to constantly progress.
Process of control Types of control Control to the customer’s
feedback is important process for the economical development of the corporation.
Nexen Tire uses three types of control such as: feedforward control, financial
control, and operation control. These control help to develop to support input
resources for the company. . Financial control Nexen Tire processes
feed-forward control. Feed-forward control focuses on the regulation of inputs
(human,,material, and financial resources that flow into the organization) to
ensure that they meet the standards necessary for the transformation process.
Through the type of control Nexen could acquire quick feedback from the
customers for the better improvement according to the desire and support of
customers. Nexen Tire controls financially well. Thorough the financial
control table, it is well shown how well Nexen tire control their
finance.

Operational Control In
addition to financial control, Nexen Tire has a well qualified ability in
operating system. In Nexen Tire, operational control systems are designed to
ensure that day-to-day actions are consistent with established plans and
objectives. Nexen Tire focuses on events in a recent period. Operational control
systems are derived from the requirements of the management control system.
Thus, corrective action is taking where performance does not meet standards.
This action involves training, motivation, leadership, discipline, and
termination. The present age has become informative era. Thus, the
information is very important in order for the economy or the company to
succeed. Information system in Nexen helps to build a strategy to help gain
competitive advantage. Nexen gathers customer’s information from the feedback,
and then develop their input resources to the satisfactory of both customers and
suppliers. Therefore, information system plays a great role to globalize Nexen
Tire.
